BIO

Suren Melkonyan was born in Yerevan, Armenia on 1976.

Art school, college and academy were the main directions in Suren`s life, lighting his way in his world.

The  sculptor has created many sculptures from bronze, stone and other mediums during his journey in art world. Part of them you can see in the streets of Yerevan, Armenia, some artworks are installed in churches, schools and other governments buildings in other cities. 

Suren Melkonyan was awarded diploma and a medal by National Association of union of reserve officers of the armed forces <<MEGAPIR>> for his great contribution to the development of friendship between the nations, perpetuating the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War for sculpturing a basalt portret of Great Patriotic War hero Hunan Avetisyan as well as a medal of Drastamat Kanayan awarded by the Defence Minister of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan.

Suren Melkonyan was given diplomas by the Mayor of Yerevan city Taron Margaryan for the city installation project <<We and our grands>>.
